Celestite Clusters - Small

Celestite is a mineral consisting of strontium sulphate. The mineral is named for its occasional delicate celestial blue colour. Celestite is the principal source of the element strontium, commonly used in red fireworks and in various metal alloys. It is a member of the Barite Group of minerals.

Celestite develops as an accessory mineral of ore veins and is usually found in sedimentary rocks especially in the cavities of sandstone and limestone.

Celestite is a fragile stone and should be handled with care, keep it away from direct sunlight or the colour will fade.  It is very delicate and brittle.  These Celestite clusters are from Madagascar.

Celestite is a strontium sulphate mineral with a hardness of 3 to 3.5. The most frequently found form is the blue-grey variety that forms in clusters and geodes. This is found in Madagascar.

Celestite stimulates the spiritual senses, enhancing inner vision and dream work. It brings a calm, centred and uplifted feeling into the emotional body. It helps one to feel safe and protected and can overcome fear or paranoia. Celestite is a crystal of choice for rooms that require deep serenity, particularly Therapy rooms, and bedrooms. It is great also for kids who are scared at night, or suffer from nightmares.

Do not clean Celestite with water.  Gently use a can of compressed air (again, be aware there may be loose bits) or gently brush with a soft pastry brush.

You will receive one piece intuitively picked for you. The photos represent the quality & sizing you will receive, however please note that as each stone is unique & one of a kind and there can be slight variations.
